Technical Rescue Course
The Technical Rescue School is a hands-on training program designed to meet NFPA 1006 -Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications 2008 Edition in the disciplines of rope rescue; trench rescue; confined space entry and rescue; and building collapse shoring. This course provides participants foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with specialized equipment and techniques used on technical rescue incidents. The eleven-day course starts May 13, 2013 and is $1,400.
This course is designed to meet the following standards:
- NFPA 1670, Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents
- NFPA 1006, Standard for Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications
- NFPA 1983, Standard on Life Safety Rope and Equipment
- OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 & 1926.250
